i saw this busker at the clark/lake stop on new year’s eve. he was covering classic rock tunes, maybe. i can’t remember the songs but i do remember being disappointed that he wasn’t covering better ones. i had seen him before.

in any case, what struck me about this guy was not so much his talent but more his striking resemblance to the guy at the front desk of the building where i work. i have never seen the front desk guy play a guitar or wear a checkered scarf, but when i imagine him wearing a checkered scarf and playing a guitar this is exactly what he looks like.

to augment this theory that they are one person instead of two, i will tell you that the busker can only be found around hush-hour, whereas front desk guy at the building where i work leaves at around three or so. i dont know if he has time to go home, change, get his guitar and make it back to clark/lake to start his subway set, but maybe i can ask the building engineers some roundabout questions and not raise any suspicion. and yes, just asking him is completely out of the question.

is the busker the same guy as the front desk guy where i work? the investigation continues.
